She came to our home on time, prepared, and with a big smile. Jenn’s energy was calm and positive, something our young kids picked up on right away. It was within 5 minutes that our son was showing her his top bunk and our daughter was proudly revealing her favorite book. She started snapping without them even knowing and got some of my most favorite moments. Jenn used the lighting, the background, and her talent to freeze a moment in time for us. Jennifer was so great! She went above and beyond to get us great family photos. My husband and I did a photo shoot in a natural setting with our two older daughters (age 11 and 13) (and our dog) who hate taking pictures, and she was incredible at engaging them in conversation and giving us things to discuss that would make us laugh and relax and look natural. The photos turned out so nice. She even got a great picture of the dog (who is really crazy). If you are looking for someone to do your family photos, I cannot give a higher recommendation. - Erin
It was a pleasure working with Jen for our family photos. I first reached out to her after stumbling upon her instagram account and was able to arrange everything over email. She always responded promptly, was professional and upfront about payment and what to expect from the photo session. She was well prepared and brought toys/prompts to help the kids feel at ease during the shoot. I loved how she also took the time to get to know us and figure out what we wanted to capture. Jenn was an excellent photographer for our engagement photos. She was chill and funny and helped us relax and get comfortable, as we'd never had professional photos done before. She struck a great balance between gently encouraging us to try poses and also meeting us where we were and not trying to make us do things that were really out of character. Looking back we are really glad we did this before our wedding! Even though we had a different photographer for our wedding, doing the engagement shoot with Jenn helped us know what to expect and get comfortable posing for the wedding. All in all it was a super positive experience and we love the natural, beautiful photos she created! She did a great job capturing us and our relationship. Definitely recommend! - Lianne
Jenn is the sweetest and was so great with our two kids, plus myself, during the shoots! She made sure we were all comfortable and allowed us to fix our hair and outfits when needed to. She talked and played with my kids to make them smile, especially my two year old son who had a hard time smiling in photos. She even held his dino and made roaring sounds to get him to laugh! You will never feel rushed too, as I have felt that way a couple of times with others. I love her style of photos as she captured the perfect moments, the quick candids, and natural smiles. She even caught the perfect shot of me jumping on my husband's back while laughing, and now it's framed in our bedroom as one of our favorite photos! Our family photos came out better than I imagined and she got the edits done so quickly. Jennifer was easy to work with to find the right location at the right time to do our engagement photoshoot. She arrived earlier than us, had already scoped out great spots, and was prepared long before we were.
Her instructions were instrumental in helping us pose for each shot. It all felt natural with Jennifer's suggestions. She had no problem switching things up to improve each scene, and appeared to genuinely enjoy working with us to capture an important milestone in our lives.
